Today I am thankful for the ability to stay up late and sleep in past 7 am.

Today I am thankful for my friends and family. Even though I am not near my family in miles, they were in my heart today. We should be thankful everyday for our friends, family, faith, and everything else. Thank you to my friends for being my family away from my family.

Thankfulness day 21

Today I am thankful for Dana, David, and Alex. What a great way to spend the first day of "mini-vacation" time. Watching movies and dinner. Thank you for inviting me over.

Thankfulness day 20

Today I am thankful for Danelle, Kevin, and Logan for inviting me over for a spud of the moment Thanksgiving dinner. Had my 1st deep fried turkey - yum so good. It will be hard to go back to a regular baked turkey. Thanks my dear friends!!!!!

Today I am thankful for Dr Pepper - caffeine at its best. That is all.

Today I am thankful for my friends at work who make the day go by with laughter. It is a great feeling to know that you have friends who have your back and will make sure that if you didn't or aren't having a good day that it will be turned around. Thank you my friends!'nn

Thankfulness Day 17

Today I am thankful for my grandparents. They are no longer with us, but I am so thankful for the time I got to spend with each of them. I was lucky enough to be only 5 minutes from 1 set and 45 minutes from the other set while growing up. I have so many happy memories of spending time with each set. I may not remember much about my grandmothers, but I truly enjoy hearing the stories of things that I did with each of them. I consider each precious day that I had with them a blessing (3 years and 8 years). As for my grandfathers, they were my world. The precious memories of sitting on their laps and just being loved will always remain in my heart!!! Love you bunches and miss you so much Papa Coplin and Papa Boo!!

Thankfulness day 16

Today I am thankful for my cute brown shoes. They have seen much better days and as of right now they are officially retired from the lineup. Thank you for your service with jeans and my brown dress pants.

Today I am thankful for the rain. A gift from heaven to keep things living. Which reminds me I need to water my plants inside the house (haha).

Today I am thankful for flannel sheets. Silly I know, but truly wonderful on cold nights/mornings.

Today I am thankful for the 4 hours of sleep that I got last night. I figured I would need a caffeine IV but was perfectly fine this morning.

Today I am thankful for the brief vacation from work, the ability to get things done at the house, and the beautiful day that it is outside!!!!!

Today I am thankful for all of those who have put THEIR lives on the line for our freedoms. To all past, present, and future military members I thank you from the bottom of my heart. To the family members of those in the military thank you for supporting them, loving them, and giving them your love so that they proudly serve our country. This goes out to both of my grandpas and to my many friends who are or have served in the military. Thank you. ❤

Today I am thankful for this beautiful weather. I'm writing this as I sit on my front porch listening to the wind blow thru the trees, as leaves hit the ground, and nothing but nature surrounding me.

Thankfulness day 9

I am thankful for the lifelong friends that I made my 1st year of teaching. Without those girls I'm not sure if I would've stayed in North Carolina. They are a very important part of my life. I thank God everyday for bringing them into my life. That first year we laughed, we cried, we sympathized, we laughed some more, but most importantly we made sure that we were there for each other. Thank you for being there for me and for each other. To 14 more years of teaching!!!!

Today I am thankful for my handsome nephew, Channing. Already he makes me laugh and smile. He is such a happy baby!!!! I am looking forward to spoiling him just as much as I've spoiled his sister!!!

Today I am thankful for Kinsley! I love that little niece of mine so much. On a daily basis she cracks me up - I can't wait till the time when she is old enough to come and visit with Hehe for a week or more during the summer.

Today I am thankful for a county who gave us an optional workday which I decided to be optional about! I am very thankful for the extra hour of sleep in my warm bed. Thank you for being optional!!!

Today I am thankful for my sister. Occasionally we fight but I know that no matter what my sister has my back and I hop she knows that I have her back. I will always be there for you sis!!! Love ya!!! ❤

Today I am thankful for a job that I love. Every day I get to do something that I enjoy. Not only that but I work with a super group of people.

Today I am thankful for all the support and fundraising that Relay for Life does for the American Cancer Society. I am thankful that dad is one year cancer free.

Today I am thankful to have a relationship with The Lord. With the knowledge that he gave his life for my every sin, I can go forth in life showing his Grace and forgiveness through how I treat others.

Today I am thankful for my parents for making me the person that I am today. Without their love, guidance, and support I would not be the independent, faithful, loving woman that I am. Thank you mom and dad for being there, for trusting, for encouraging, for guiding, and for always LOVING!! Love you both with all my heart. ❤
